There will be two historic diesel trains passing through Stoke-on-Trent this December.
The Midland Pullman HST and the Class 52 diesel D1015 'Western Champion' will both be passing through Stoke-on-Trent this month.
The Midland Pullman HST will be travelling from Tamworth to Edinburgh on Monday 15 December for the Edinburgh Christmas Pullman journey.
The train will be departing from Stoke-on-Trent at 7:05am and returning at 10:15pm.
The train will also stop at Lichfield Trent Valley, Congleton, Macclesfield, Poynton, Stockport, Manchester Victoria and Bolton.
Midland Pullman said: "The Midland Pullman [was] Britain's first luxury high speed diesel-electric train, running in the early 1960's between Manchester Central and London St Pancras."
The D1015 Western Champion will be hauling Pathfinder's last rail tour on Saturday 20 December.
This follows the announcement earlier this year that this journey would be the final rail tour for the company, which has operated for over 50 years.
Pathfinder Railtours said: "The requested route will take us through the Potteries and on along the western flanks of the Pennines, by way of Congleton and Macclesfield to Stockport.
"A twisting route through suburbia will lead to our destination at Manchester Victoria."
The train is estimated to arrive at Manchester Victoria at 1pm and depart and 4:30pm.
Tickets to board the Pathfinder Finale have sold out but there are some non-dining tickets left for the Edinburgh Christmas Pullman.
