Two arrested after police find almost 250 cannabis plants at Tunstall property

Two men have been arrested after police found almost 250 cannabis plants at a property in Stoke-on-Trent.

Police carried out of a warrant near Brownhills Road, Tunstall, on Friday 26 April and found a total of 248 cannabis plants.

A spokesperson for Staffordshire Police said: "The plants were seized and the property has been secured.

A 34-year-old man and a 30-year-old man have been arrested (SWNS).

"A 34-year-old man, of no fixed address, was arrested on suspicion of cultivating cannabis.

"A 30-year-old man, from Stoke-on-Trent, was arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the production of cannabis.

"Both men remain in custody while enquiries continue."
