Highways crews carried out 20 repair jobs on the A522 Tean Road between the junction of Charles Street to the junction of Huntley Lane.

The work, which started on Monday November 4, included filling potholes, refreshing road markings, hedge cutting and fixing kerbs, ironwork, footways and signs.

Mark Deaville, Staffordshire County Council's Cabinet Member for Strategic Highways, said: "I am pleased that these essential improvements on Tean Road have been completed with minimal disruption to the Cheadle community.

"Quality roads are vital for safe and efficient travel and this investment demonstrates our commitment to keeping Staffordshire's highways in excellent condition.

"I want to thank local residents and businesses for their patience and support during the works. With these improvements now complete, Tean Road will be safer and more reliable for everyone who uses it."
