The family of a 44-year-old man who died after a stabbing in Stoke-on-Trent have paid tribute to him.

Staffordshire Police was called at 7.40pm on Thursday (23 July) to Ridgway Road in Shelton following reports that a man had been stabbed.

Christopher Bradbury, 44, from Stoke-on-Trent, died at the scene.

Paying tribute to him, his family said: "He was loved so much by his mum and partner, brother and sister.

"He will be sadly missed by his father and partner."

Detective Chief Inspector Ian Fitzgerald, of the major investigations department, said: "Our thoughts remain with Christopher's family and friends and our investigation is continuing."

A further arrest has was made yesterday (Monday 27 July) as part of the investigation.

A 19-year-old man, from Stoke-on-Trent, has been arrested on suspicion of murder.

The 19-year-old man and 20-year-old man, both from Stoke-on-Trent, who were arrested previously remain in custody for questioning.
