Tribute paid to 'devoted mum' who died in collision in Stoke-on-Trent
The family of a woman who sadly died in a collision in Stoke-on-Trent have paid tribute to her.
Sharon Taft, 56, of Forsbrook, was on-foot when a black Kia Ceed collided with her on Blurton Road at 11.36am on Monday (18 November)
Emergency services attended but sadly, Sharon died as a result of her injuries at the scene.
In a moving tribute to her, Sharon's family said: "As a family, we're still coming to terms with the massive hole that's been created in our world.
"Our mum was such a big character with an even bigger heart. She was a devoted mum, nanny, partner, sister and friend to many. Her absence will be felt deeply and her grandchildren love and miss her so much already.
"Her youngest daughter Milli wants people to know that her mum was such a gorgeous woman who lit up any room she walked in. She made sure that everyone was better off before herself."
Milli said: "I will miss her forever and ever and love her lots."
Police don't believe anyone else was involved in the collision.
