Three more arrests after group of men seen with weapons in Stoke-on-Trent

Three more people have been arrested following an incident involving men with weapons in Stoke-on-Trent.

Police were called to Rochester Road at 5.45pm on Saturday 11 May following reports of a group of men with weapons.

A 25-year-old man, from Stoke-on-Trent, was arrested over the weekend and has since been released on conditional police bail.

Four people in total have now been arrested following the incident (SWNS).

Three more arrests were made yesterday (13 May):

  • A 64-year-old man, from Stoke-on-Trent, on suspicion of possessing a firearm without a certificate 
  • A 31-year-old man, from Stoke-on-Trent, on suspicion of possessing a firearm with intent to endanger life or enable another to do so
  • A 29-year-old man, from Stoke-on-Trent, on suspicion of possessing a firearm without a certificate

They have since been released on conditional police bail while enquiries continue.
