Three arrests made after Stoke hit-and-run

Police have made three arrests following a suspected hit-and-run in Stoke-on-Trent.
Officers were called to Stratheden Road, Burslem, just after 4.40pm on Friday (10 October) following reports of a collision involving a car and a bicycle.
The driver of the car, which was a black Ford Fiesta, drove off.
The rider of the bicycle was taken to hospital by Midlands Air Ambulance after suffering serious injuries. He remains in a stable condition.
A 27-year-old man, from Newcastle-under-Lyme, has been arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by careless/inconsiderate driving and failing to stop after a road accident. He was questioned in custody and released on bail.
A 36-year-old man, from Stoke-on-Trent, has been arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by careless/inconsiderate driving, failing to stop after a road accident and other driving offences. He was questioned in custody and released on bail.
A 53-year-old woman, from Stoke-on-Trent, has been arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender. She has been released under investigation.
"We're keen to speak to anyone that we haven't already with any information that can help with our investigation, particularly those with CCTV, doorbell or dashcam footage of the area at the time," a Staffordshire Police statement said.
