Three arrests following fire at 'derelict' Stoke-on-Trent building

Three people have been arrested following a fire in a Stoke-on-Trent town.
Staffordshire Police was called at 2.40pm today (Friday 2 October) to Newcastle Street in Burslem following reports of a fire.
In a statement made at 4.40pm today, Staffordshire Police said officers remain at the scene alongside Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Service.
Fire crews are working to extinguish a fire involving a "derelict building".
Staffordshire Police has confirmed that a 42-year-old woman, of no fixed address, has been arrested on suspicion of arson with intent to endanger life.
The police force also confirmed that a 38-year-old man, of Stoke-on-Trent, and a 42-year-old man, of no fixed address, have been arrested on suspicion of attempted arson with intent to endanger life.
A spokesperson for Staffordshire Police said: "They remain in custody for questioning.
"We are appealing for anyone with CCTV, doorbell or dashcam footage of the area at the time to contact us. Call 101, quoting incident 468 of 2 October, or use Live Chat on our website.
