A popular shopping centre in Stoke-on-Trent is set to host a series of Halloween activities this October half term.

Between 28 October and 3 November, budding giants, pixies, witches and wizards will be invited to take part in the Spellbound Spooktacular Wizarding School of Magical Mayhem.

Children will have the opportunity to don a cloak and wand and meet a magical professor to learn tricks and spells to hunt creatures and monsters, with a chance to achieve a certificate in Wizarding.

Located outside H&M on the upper mall, pre-book online for just £1 charity donation to the centre's One Great Day charity, Horton Lodge Community Special School, to secure a spot this half term.

Visitors will also be able to pick up a free bag outside H&M on the upper mall and keep an eye out for posters in the windows of participating stores, ready to fill up with chocolates and sweets, including Game, Lush and Smiggle.

Amy Whittaker, Centre Manager at The Potteries Centre, adds: "We're so excited to share The Potteries Centre's first Wizarding School that is sure to keep families entertained this upcoming half term.

"Head down to the centre and get in the Halloween spirit with us as we unleash all things spooky throughout October. With so many retailers taking part in the Trick or Treat hunt, it is sure to be a great experience for all, keeping kids entertained while parents shop."
