Take a look inside: Stoke-on-Trent pub reopens after £432k renovation

The Horn and Trumpet in Stoke-on-Trent reopened its doors on Saturday 3 May after a £432,000 refurbishment.
Located on Norton Retail Park, the revamped pub has updated decor throughout and a central partition divides a lively locals bar from a family-friendly lounge, which Marston's say will "ensure there's something for everyone, no matter the occasion".

Ken McLoughlin-Gold, a local hero, was chosen to mark the reopening after battling sepsis and undergoing an amputation.
Currently in a wheelchair and soon to be fitted with prosthetics, Ken cut the ribbon and poured the first pint to celebrate the pub's return.

Dan Maddox, the general manager who has recently joined the team, said, "We're thrilled to welcome guests back to The Horn and Trumpet.
"This investment has allowed us to create a brand-new family dining area and sports bar, and we're incredibly grateful for the community's patience and support. Our doors are now open, and we're excited for everyone to experience our new look!"

The Horn and Trumpet will continue its regular events, including the weekly pub quiz on Thursdays and poker night on Wednesdays.

This week the pub will host cash bingo, smart karaoke, live music, and family-friendly activities.
Marston's operates over 1,600 pubs and bars across England, Scotland, and Wales, offering everything from traditional locals to family-friendly venues, all with a focus on quality service and community spirit.
