Teenager taken to hospital following collision with a taxi in Stoke-on-Trent

Staffordshire Police are appealing for witnesses after a teenager was involved in a collision with a taxi in Stoke-on-Trent.

Police and paramedics were called to Leason Road, Meir, just after 3.20pm on 17 September following a collision between a boy and a black Skoda Fabia.

The boy suffered injuries to his leg and was taken to hospital.

The drive of the vehicle stayed at the scene and assisted police with enquiries.

A spokesperson for Staffordshire Police said: "Anyone with information is asked to contact us by calling 101, or via Live Chat on our website, quoting incident number 467 of 17 September.

"Or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111."
