Staffordshire Police would like to speak to two people as they suspect they may be involved in a knifepoint robbery which took place earlier this month.

Police were called to Town Road, Hanley, at 8.20pm on 12 September, after a 15-year-old boy had his mobile phone stolen.

The boy had been walking home with a friend along an alleyway when two young men jumped out on them and threatened them, with one of the suspects brandishing a four-inch blade.

The victim's blue iPhone 12 and his silver bracelet with diamond-style stones around were stolen.

The incident happened at around 8.20pm on 12 September (Staffordshire Police).

A spokesperson for Staffordshire Police said: "We have collected CCTV from the local area and have obtained these images. We know that they are not the best quality, but are hoping someone will recognise those involved.

"One of the suspects was described as wearing a grey Under Armour jacket with the other suspect wearing a Mercia black jacket with a white badge.

"Anyone with any information is asked to contact us on 101 quoting incident number 580 of 12 September."
