Three talented young actors are to perform with a professional cast in a magical, 'Stokie' Christmas show, taking place at The Dipping House, which is nestled in the historical Spode site.
Forsbrook Primary School pupils, Harry and George, along with Willows Primary School pupil, Albert, will share the part of the empathetic character Tiny Tim in Claybody Theatre's - A Christmas Carol.
The three Tiny Tims' were chosen following a series of auditions held by the theatre company in September, and will join the Claybody Community Company and seven professional actors for the show.
Andrew Price has already been announced to play Ebenezer Scrooge and Jack Quarton - who appeared in Claybody's Song of the Sytch in 2023 - will be joining as composer and musical director, as well as playing Scrooge's warm-hearted nephew Fred.
Director of A Christmas Carol, Conrad Nelson, said: "We auditioned 14 children in total, and they were all amazing.
"Sadly, we could only choose three for this production, but we have met some wonderful young actors and we hope they will keep in touch with Claybody in the future."
Writer, Deborah McAndrew said: "In this adaptation, Tim Cratchit is a very important character and the first person we meet. We are really looking forward to working with these talented children to bring Tiny Tim to life."
All three of the children were equally amazed and thrilled to be chosen to play Bob Cratchit's nephew.
Albert says: "I did the audition for fun, and wasn't expecting to get in. I started acting in 2023 for Stoke Youth. My skills are singing and dancing."
Harry and George also attend Drama School Stoke.
Harry says: "When I got the part, I was screaming. I'd guessed I hadn't got it, but then I found out I got the part when my dad picked me up from school. I couldn't put it into words how I felt."
George says: "I like performing and pretending to be other people and making silly voices. I'm not sure what I'll do for Tiny Tim yet."
A Christmas Carol will run from Friday 5 to Saturday 20 December, with 17 performances taking place at The Dipping House, Spode Works, Stoke ST4 1BU.
A full cast announcement will be made in November.
