Support service's chief executive to embark on 91-mile walk to work

A chief executive is set to embark on a 91-mile walk to work.
Dave Young, the co-founder of Independence Support Limited (ISL), will trek from his home in south Leicestershire to the company's head office in Macclesfield.
Setting off on Saturday, August 16, Dave will walk 91 miles over the course of seven days.
In the process he will raise money for 11 charities close to the hearts of the team he works with, including the Dougie Mac which provides hospice services to thousands of adults, young adults and children living with a life-limiting illness in Stoke-on-Trent, North Staffordshire.
Dave said: "These charities are the lifeblood of their communities."
"Walking 91 miles is nothing compared to the dedication they show, day in and day out, to help people in need."

ISL provides services to enable people to increase independence and achieve their goals, such as securing employment and community involvement.
They offer support to people with a variety of different needs including mental health, substance misuse, learning disabilities, acquired brain injuries, physical disabilities, sensory impairments and more.
Chief executive Dave has already raised £2,420 before even taking the first step.
He is hoping that his journey will inspire more donations to support the vital work of the 11 causes chosen.
