UPDATE: A50 reopens following crash

A stretch of the A50 has now reopened following a crash and barrier damage.

The road is now open in both directions between A521 (Blythe Bridge) and A522 (near Uttoxeter).

One lane (of two) remains closed eastbound.

National Highways has said that there are delays of less than 10 minutes on the approach, both ways.

The was road previously closed in both directions.

The Staffordshire Police Road Crime Team attended the scene.

National Highways said: " Closure is due to a collision and barrier damage."
