Stoke-on-Trent's leading shopping centre is set to host a range of "fun and free" activities this summer.

The activities, which will take place at The Potteries Centre, in Hanley, will take place from 22 July to 3 September.

Adventure Maze

Located next to Lush, an under-the-sea themed maze will keep children entertained whilst parents browse the shops or take a break.

Children will get the chance to find the hidden octopus tentacles around the maze and crack the code to be in with a chance to win a Cineworld voucher.

The maze will be available from 22 July to 6 August.

The Village Green

Located outside H&M, the Village Green will be decorated with colourful picnic benches and summer flowers from 22 July to 3 September.

The Potteries Centre say it is "the perfect spot to grab a refreshing drink and a bite to eat while taking a break from a much-needed day of shopping".

Activities include an adventure maze, village green, circus performances and the return of the beach (Nub News).

Circus Flavours

This free performance and workshop are available for children ages 7 and over on 5 and 6 August.

Children will get the opportunity to try out a new skill and learn from some of the most talented circus performers in the UK.

The Beach

The Potteries Centre's beach is back from 7 August to 3 September.

Bringing the traditional British seaside to Stoke-on-Trent, families will be able to sit up and relax in a deckchair around a sand pit where little ones can enjoy building sandcastles with buckets and spades.
