Stoke's first pasta restaurant and takeaway opened today (26 June) on The Strand in Longton.

Ran by two friends, Barbara and Rashid, Pasta2Go offers pasta, milkshakes, smoothies, fresh juice, ice cream and bubble tea.

Barbara, who also owns a sandwich shop on Victoria Road, told Stoke Nub News: "We decided to open the shop because there's no healthy food options in Longton and we'd been thinking about it for a while."

Owner of 'The Fone Shop' next door, Rashid added, "We're also doing bubble tea because there's nowhere you can get that around here and it's becoming really popular."

The brand-new eatery will also be offering a collection or delivery service (Nub News).

The brand-new eatery hosts a bright pink seating area for customers to enjoy the homemade food, but will also be offering a delivery or collection service.

Pasta2Go is open 10am-6pm Monday-Saturday.
