A woman has been arrested after Staffordshire Police found suspected packages of monkey dust in Stoke-on-Trent.

At 9.40am on Tuesday (25 July), police stopped a woman on Denbigh Street in Hanley and found the drugs following a search.

A 28-year-old woman, from Stoke-on-Trent, was arrested on suspicion of possessing class B drugs.

She has since been released on conditional police bail while inquiries continue.

Police have been actively targeting the supply of monkey dust in Stoke-on-Trent (Staffordshire Police).

Back in April, police seized 10 kilos of monkey dust packages in Stoke-on-Trent and have been proactively targeting its supply locally.

Work is ongoing to disrupt the supply of drugs across Staffordshire and to support the vulnerable communities who are adversely affected by them.
