Award-winning pet photography business, Alan Dukes Photography, has been shortlisted for this years Pride of Staffordshire - Pet Photographer of the Year award.

Founder, Alan Dukes, offers on-location photoshoots, end-of-life sessions and stunning wall art for your home.

Alan told Stoke Nub News last month: "You're always told not to work with children and animals but honestly there's nothing better than a dog who loves running around and having fun."

Alan uses various locations across Stoke-on-Trent to create his stunning images (Alan Dukes Photography).

Now, he has made the final three for this year's Pet Photographer of the Year award.

Alan said: "This recognition means so much to me and it's a testament to how far I've come on my journey as a pet photographer.

"When I first started Alan Dukes Photography, I was driven by my passion for animals and my desire to capture their unique personalities and the special bond they share with their owners.

"It wasn't always easy, but with perseverance, hard work, and the support of my amazing clients, I've been able to turn my dream into a reality.

"As I reflect on this nomination, I'm filled with gratitude for every furry friend and their owner who has trusted me to capture their memories.

"Your loyalty and support have been the driving force behind my success, and I couldn't have come this far without you.

"Whether we've shared a moment chasing after a ball, playing in the autumn leaves, or cuddling on the beach, each photoshoot has been a joy and a privilege."

Alan offers packages with wall art, canvases or just digital images (Alan Dukes Photography).

The winner will be announced on 11 April at a ceremony at The Princess Royal, Dresden.
