More than 1,000 Stoke-on-Trent schoolchildren took part in a sponsored walk and raised more than £7,000 for a local hospice.
A total of 1,112 pupils took part in a one-mile sponsored walk to raise money for the Douglas Macmillan Hospice.
The initiative raised a total of £7,436.40 for the organisation which provides care at two hospice sites in Blurton and Trentham and in people's homes across the community.
The participating pupils were from Newstead Primary School, Whitfield Primary Academy and Norton-le-Moors Primary Academy, who are all part of The Inspirational Learning Academies Trust.
Deborah Vickers, Head of Business and Events Fundraising, said: "We are extremely grateful to all three schools for raising such an incredible amount of money for us.
"The funds will help us provide our specialist care services to local adults, young adults and children living with life-limited illnesses in Stoke-on-Trent, North Staffordshire and the surrounding areas, as well as offering support to their families and carers."
Douglas Macmillan Hospice (also known as Dougie Mac) provides specialist palliative care for adults, young adults and children across North Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent who are facing life-limiting illnesses.
Dougie Mac is also currently looking for more volunteers to join its team this year and has urged anyone interested to visit their website here for more information or to apply.
