A 29-year-old man from Stoke-on-Trent has been charged with multiple offences related to the Sandbach area.

Marcus Brook, of Sandyford, has been charged with controlling and coercive behaviour, threats to kill, threats to damage/destroy property, assault occasioning actual bodily harm, and intentional strangulation.

He appeared at Warrington Magistrates' Court on Thursday (7 May) and has been remanded in custody to appear at Chester Crown Court on Thursday 6 June.

The charges relate to offences in the Sandbach area.
