Stoke-on-Trent man, 53, charged with sexual assault and kidnap in Crewe

Cheshire Police investigating a sexual assault and kidnap incident in Crewe have charged a man residing in Stoke-on-Trent.
At around 6.40am on Sunday 29 March, police were called to reports a 19-year-old woman had been sexually assaulted.
Raja Ahbab, of Davison Street, Burslem, was later arrested in connection with the incident.
The 53-year-old, who is a Pakistani national, has since been charged with sexual assault, kidnap, and driving without due care and attention.
Ahbab has been remanded in custody to appear at Chester Magistrates' Court on Tuesday 31 March.
