Stoke-on-Trent's Wynsors store is set to close this September, after the footwear retailer announced the closure of 17 stores across the UK.
The store in Hanley is among those affected, alongside branches in Leeds, Sheffield, Wakefield, Fleetwood, Burnley, Oldham, Salford, Bury, Rochdale, Crewe, Birkenhead, Bootle, Bacup, Bolton, Gateshead and Sunderland.
Wynsors said its closing down sale is now underway at the the store on Marsh Street North, with customers able to save up to 30 per cent across selected products including shoes, boots, trainers and accessories.
In a statement shared by the company, Wynsors said: "It's with sadness that we announce that certain Wynsors stores will be closing its doors.
"We'd like to say a huge thank you to all of our customers who have shopped with us and supported the store over the years. Your support has meant so much to the whole team."
The company said the affected stores are holding closing down sales as they prepare to shut, with "everything" needing to go.
Wynsors stressed the closures only affect these selected stores, with its other branches continuing to trade as normal.
