A Stoke-on-Trent cocaine dealer has been jailed after officers found over £1,000 worth of drugs hidden in an "elaborate contraption" in the doorway of a car.
Etmond Margjoni, of Shelton, was sentenced to two-years-and-four-months in prison at Stoke-on-Trent Crown Court on Tuesday (27 January) after he admitted possession with intent to supply cocaine.
The Staffordshire Police major and organised crime team stopped 30-year-old Margjoni on Albert Street, Basford, in October last year.
Officers searched the car he was driving and discovered deals of cocaine worth an estimated £1,200.
The drugs had been stashed away in a compartment under the window controls of the driver's side door.
A spokesperson for Staffordshire Police said: "After easily busting his invention, we confronted Margjoni with the evidence.
"The estimated street value of the cocaine deals was estimated to be £1,200, and Margjoni was charged with the offence.
"Our major and organised crime teams are working proactively every single day across Staffordshire as part of our efforts to disrupt the people and gangs responsible for drug supply in local communities.
"Contraptions in car doors are not going to stop us."
