Stoke City launch new community group providing local people with a warm space

Stoke City Community Trust have recently launched a new community group - Stoke Social.

The group will meet every Wednesday, providing a safe, warm space for individuals to meet new people and try new activities. 

The group is completely free to attend and there will be bingo, chair-based exercise, socialising , games and tea and coffee. 

The Big Stoke City Quiz also takes place today (Wednesday 25 January).

Ricardo's Bar, Bet365 Stadium (Stoke City FC).

The session runs from the new Ricardo's bar at the Bet365 Stadium from 10am-12pm. 

Craig Chorlton, Business Development Manager for the Community Trust, said: "This new group is a fantastic opportunity to give back to our local community and loyal fans. 

"Providing warm spaces to combat social isolation and the cost of living has never been more important and we are proud to be able to run this social from our brand-new Ricardo's bar."
