Stoke City Football Club have been given the green light to build a Potters Fan Zone at the bet365 Stadium.
Plans for the new facility - which were submitted to the council back in October 2023 - were approved on 9 May.
The Fan Zone will feature a main stage and LED screen as well as food and drink outlets, covered area, children's area and toilets.
Vice-Chairman, Richard Smith, said: "It has been a long-held ambition of the Club to construct a fan zone, primarily to enhance the matchday experience at the bet365 Stadium."
Stoke City's Chief Operating Officer, Simon King, added that the prospective fan zone highlights the Club's desire to maximise the potential of the bet365 Stadium.
He said: "In our dialogue with supporters, it has been clear that there is significant appetite for a fan zone to be introduced as part of a first-class matchday experience, creating a hub of activity where fans can gather and enjoy live entertainment.
"We also believe a facility like this will present an opportunity for regular supporter engagement and community activities."
An Officer's Report, published by the council, said: "The Fan Zone is proposed to be used on match days, for home fixtures only, to provide food and beverages and other family-friendly activities etc to match ticket holders before and after the game including the use of the stage and screen for the entertainment of visitors with background level live music or screening of secondary football matches or other sporting events.
"The area would also then be used on non-match days for other events such as the screening of 'primary' football matches such as other SCFC games (play-off and cup matches), Euro and World Cup games etc along with live music events. These would be restricted to no more than 12 No. events per calendar year.
"The proposed operational development located within the wider football stadium curtilage is considered to be acceptable subject to conditions required to protect amenity within the area with regard to the control over hours and nature of use along with the finished appearance of the various structures."
