A retirement community in Newcastle-under-Lyme has entered the final stage of its build, signified by the removal of the crane from the construction site.

Brookfields House, on Clayton Road, is set to open in September this year and will comprise 75 stylish one, two and three-bedroom retirement apartments for the over 55s.

Alexandra Johnson, Sales and Marketing Director for Adlington Retirement Living, said: "Our vision is to empower our homeowners to live a long, happy and healthy life. We do that by creating safe and secure environments with thriving communities, extensive facilities, and spacious, quality homes, providing an opportunity to enjoy retirement to the full.

"Brookfields House in Newcastle-under-Lyme will offer new friendships, social occasions, and activities that homeowners can dip into whenever the mood takes them. When they want to spend some quiet time in their own company, they own a beautiful, self-contained apartment where they can relax."

The beautiful new building has now entered the final stage of its build (Thinkmedia Communications).

The communal facilities at Brookfields House will include a coffee lounge, homeowners' lounge, a hair salon, therapy suite and an activities studio, as well as a guest suite with en-suite for visiting friends and family who wish to stay overnight.

The 24-hour on-site support team will provide homeowners with peace of mind and, if needed, optional personal care packages will be available. Be it short-term support after an operation, or more regular, long-term tailored personal care, the team will work closely with their local care partner to ensure a flexible solution to suit each individual. In addition to this, the community will have a sophisticated emergency call system and a security video entry system to manage access.

Margaret, who moved to an Adlington Retirement Living community with her husband John, said: "I just don't want to wait until a crisis happens. That's the reason that we're doing it at 74 and 71, when we're relatively young, but I'm thinking ahead."

The retirement village will comprise 75 stylish apartments for the over 55s (Thinkmedia Communication).

All apartments include quality, fully fitted kitchens with integrated appliances. Many feature en-suite shower rooms as well as separate bathrooms, and most have a private patio area or walk-out balcony overlooking the beautifully landscaped gardens.

Adlington Retirement Living has won Seniors Housing Scheme of the Year for the past two years and was crowned Seniors Housing Developer of the Year at the HealthInvestor Seniors Housing Awards 2022.

Four of Adlington's communities have also won Gold, Silver and Bronze Awards for the Best Retirement Development at the WhatHouse? Awards, the UK housebuilding's most prestigious event.
