Lucky Seven is a popular local taxi firm which will this year be celebrating 50 years of operating in and around Stoke-on-Trent.

Established in 1974, the company has grown year on year, providing the highest quality taxi services 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Manager, Zahir, told Stoke Nub News: "We are the largest taxi operator in Staffordshire, we have the largest fleet in the county and we specialise in home to school transport for children with special needs and airport transfers.

Lucky Seven Taxis is the latest sponsor of Stoke Nub News (Lucky Seven).

"We have an app where customers can book, (or they can use the website), which allows them to track the taxi which means it is a lot safer than it used to be because customers can see the vehicle registration and which driver will be picking them up."

All Lucky Seven drivers are also fully DBS checked and undertake extensive safeguarding training.

Zahir continued: "We have really short waiting times because we have such a large fleet, of course there are still busy times but compared to other operators we have really short waiting times.

"We also have one of the lowest fares in the city and customers can pay by card in every vehicle we have.

"We have been working with the community because we want to give something back, they've given us a lot of work so we want to pay that back."

An example of Lucky Seven's recent work in the community is in conjunction with Sizzlers Fast Food in Abbey Hulton
