Sizzlers' 'Feed the Kids project' supports hundreds of children across Stoke-on-Trent

A popular community takeaway in Stoke-on-Trent has been embarking on a special project this Easter half-term, supporting hundreds of children across the city.

Sizzlers Fast Food, supported by Lucky Seven Taxis, is now half-way through a 'Feed the Kids' project, where hundreds of meals have been given out to local children for free at various venues across the city.

Arfan Mohammed, owner of Sizzlers, estimates that he gave away up to 1,000 meals last week and the initiative will be continued this week.

Arfan will be giving away free meals at locations across the city including:

  • Blythe Bridge (ST11)
  • Meir (ST3)
  • Fenton (ST4)
  • Stoke (ST4)
  • Blurton (ST3)
  • Goldenhill (ST6)

More venues are set to be announced in ST2, ST9, ST6 so follow Arfan's and Sizzlers' Facebook pages for updates.

The project is funded through Arfan donating 25p from every order at Sizzlers towards the community and the support of Lucky Seven Taxis, who have the largest fleet of taxis in Staffordshire.
