There are lots of events going on in and around Stoke-on-Trent this weekend.

Here are our top picks brought to you by Titanic Brewery and Bros Distillery and Powerleague Stoke Trentham Lakes.

The Magnificent Seven | Stoke Rep Theatre | Fri 11 & Sat 12 April

Step into 1994, where a group of spirited D-Day veterans, confined within the walls of a Brighton nursing home, hatch a plan as bold as their wartime exploits. They're determined to break free and return to Normandy's hallowed shores to mark the 50th anniversary of D-Day.

This isn't just any play; it's an homage to resilience and the enduring human spirit. The Magnificent Seven melds the gravity of history with the levity of life's small joys. You're never too old to be a superhero — Cowabunga dudes!

This amateur production of 'The Magnificent Seven' is presented by special arrangement with Catherine O'Reilly and Tim Churchill.

Performances are taking place on Friday at 7:30pm and Saturday at both 2:30pm and 7:30pm.
