Partial solar eclipse public event | Keele Observatory | Sat 29 March
Keele Observatory, based at Keele University is hosting a free public event for the partial solar eclipse on Saturday.
The eclipse, which will see up to 39% of the sun's rays obscured by the moon at its peak, will take place on Saturday, March 29th.
The family-friendly event will get under way at 10am, with the partial eclipse beginning at 10.06am and maximum coverage occurring at 11.04am, before the spectacle ends at 12.03pm.
Live family wrestling | Abbey Hulton Sports and Social Club | Fri 28 March
Wrestling fans are in for an evening of action and drama at the Abbey Hulton Sports and Social Club from 7pm on Friday.
Tickets are £6 on the door and this event promises to be United Wrestling's wildest night yet!

Ceramic Planter Pocket Workshop with Alex Allday | Middleport Pottery | Sat 29 March
Held at Middleport Pottery, join ceramic artist Alex Allday for this hands-on porcelain workshop.

The workshop will run from 1.30pm until 4pm and tickets are £50.
Bamboo Block Party | Middleport Pottery | Sat 29 March
Brilliant Bamboo and Middleport Matters are hosting a free block party-style event at Middleport Pottery between 12pm-3pm.
You can expect a DJ, bamboo-making, screen-printing, refreshments and more.
Plus the unveiling and celebration of a bench designed by Spencer Jenkins and Middleport residents.

Craft Fair | U7 Arts and Cultural Centre | Sat 29 March
If you're on the lookout for a last-minute Mother's Day gift, then you're in luck because the U7 Arts and Cultural Centre is hosting a craft fair on Saturday.
Organisers say there will be "affordable handmade gifts perfect for Mother's Day or a wellbeing gift for yourself" and there will also be food and drink available.
