Gandeys Halloween Spooktacular is at Trentham Estate all weekend (Gandeys).

Gandeys Halloween Spooktacular is at Trentham Estate between 16 October and 3 November.

Organisers describe the show as: "A specially selected international cast of skeletons, vampires, Jack o'lanterns and not forgetting Circus Artistes, have been brought together for this year's sensational extravaganza.

"From the thrill acts to the big production numbers Gandeys are famous for, it's all here and you will be on the edge of your seat with excitement, rolling in the aisles with laughter, and hiding under your coats from the spooky thrills."

Monster Makers Market

A Monster Makers Market is at Goldenhill Community Centre on 19 October between 1pm and 4pm.

The event promises to be fun for all the family - there will be 30 bespoke stalls, cakes, a face painter, M.A.D Reptiles with real snakes and a bar as well as hot and cold food.

Dunelm Fenton Makers Market Halloween Spooktacular

A Makers Market is at Dunelm, Fenton, on 19 October (Dunelm Fenton).

The popular monthly makers market is back at Dunelm, Fenton, this weekend and it promises to be a thriller.

More than 40 small businesses will be in attendance and there will be lots of fun and games for all the family.

The event is all in aid of Dunelm's partnered charity, Age UK.

Beauty and the Beast - The Musical

Newcastle Operatic Society are performing Beauty and the Beast until 19 October (Newcastle Operatic Society).

Newcastle Operatic Society will be performing Beauty and the Beast until 19 October.

Performances take place nightly at 7.30pm and there is another show at 2.30pm on Saturday.

Promotors say: "Step into the enchanted world of Broadway's classic, Disney's Beauty and the Beast, an international sensation that has been produced in 37 countries worldwide. Based on the Academy Award-winning animated feature, the stage version includes all of the wonderful songs written by Alan Menken and the late Howard Ashman, along with new songs by Mr. Menken and Tim Rice."
