Stoke-on-Trent Comedy Festival

Stoke-on-Trent's first ever comedy festival takes place on 11 and 12 May (Stoke-on-Trent City Council).

Stoke-on-Trent's first ever comedy festival is set to take place at The Potteries Museum & Art Gallery.

The two-day festival will see a range of famous faces and touring comedians take to the stage, including Shazia Mirza, Steve Royle, Scott BennettNathan Caton, Justin Moorhouse and Kiri Pritchard-McLean.

The comedy festival will take place on Friday 10 and Saturday 11 May and tickets are now available to book here

Harper Street 2nd Anniversary

'How we lived at Harper Street' will take place on Saturday 11 May (Middleport Matters).

To celebrate the second year anniversary of the regeneration of Harper Street, Middleport Pottery and Middleport Matters will be hosting an exciting event on Saturday 11 May.

There will be free hands-on actives, entertainment, demonstrations and lots more between 10am and 3pm.

Barry Steele's Roy Orbison Story

Barry Steele will perform at Victoria Hall, Hanley, on Friday 10 May (Nub News).

Direct from the West Ends Adelphi theatre, The Roy Orbison story takes you on a musical journey celebrating the rock n roll hall of fame and 6-time grammy award winning "Big O".

Backed by a fabulous 5-piece band, you'll be taken from the rockabilly Sun Record years right through to the Traveling Wilburys era. featuring all the Classic hits including Pretty woman, Crying, I drove all night, you got It, Only the Lonely, In Dreams, California Blue, Rattled, Roll Over Beethoven and many more…
