United Wrestling - January Justice

There is an exciting live wrestling event taking place on Friday (United Wrestling).

An exciting night of live wrestling takes place at Abbey Hulton Sports and Social Club on Friday 31 January.

The event has been described as "a WWE-style extravaganza that the entire family will never forget" and visitors will also get the chance to meet their favourite wrestlings at the end of the night for a selfie.

Doors open at 7pm ready for showtime at 7.30pm.

Silent Disco

A popular Silent Disco is taking place at The Potteries Museum & Art Gallery on Friday 31 January.

Organisers say: "Join us for a Night at The Museum and dance the night away at a Silent Disco with 2 channels of music, all against the backdrop of the legendary Spitfire. 

"With Dance Classics on channel 1, followed up with Guilty Pleasures & Singalong Party Classics on channel 2, there'll be a little bit of something for everyone!"

Chinese New Year Celebrations

Join The Potteries Museum & Art Gallery in their Chinese New Year celebrations (Nub News).

The Potteries Museum & Art Gallery will be welcoming in the Lunar New Year of the Snake with traditional music and dance including Dragon and Lion dance performances.

Other activities include Chinese craft workshops, firecrackers, acrobatics and much more.

Lessons in Chemistry: Oxidation & Reduction

The new exhibition opened last week (Clay College Gallery).

A new art exhibition opened on last weekend at the Clay College Gallery in Stoke-on-Trent.

The exhibition explores different techniques in stoneware, showcasing diverse talent within studio pottery today.

It also looks as the magic of the glaze kiln where increasing or reducing oxygen can be used to create beautifully varied and unique results.
