The M6 has reopened southbound between J13 (Stafford) and J12 (Cannock) following a serious crash over night.

Two of the four lanes have now been opened after a crash between a Heavy Goods vehicle and a van, which took place at 11:30pm last night (3 November).

There remain two hour delays on the approach.

National Highways said: " Lanes one and two (of four) remain closed to complete emergency barrier and clean-up work at the scene."
