Seven people charged following huge fight in Stoke-on-Trent pub

Seven people have been charged following a large fight in a pub in Stoke-on-Trent on New Year's Eve last year.

Benjamin Ellis, 38, of Fegg Hayes, Lucy Keeling, 32, of Chell Heath, Kayleigh Kirkland, 32, of Burslem, Lauren Sargeant, 28, of Longton, Shaun Tilstone, 34, of Tunstall, Niall Ward, 21, of Fegg Hayes, and Thomas Ward, 36, of Sandyford, have all been charged with affray.

It comes after police were called to the Green Star pub on Esperanto Way, Smallthorne, at 10.15pm on 31 December 2023 to reports of a large fight.

They are all due to appear at the North Staffordshire Justice Centre on 29 January 2025.
