Late night shopping will no longer be available at The Potteries Centre, in Hanley, as its opening hours have been reduced.

The centre previously stayed open until 8pm on a Thursday but its opening hours have been cut to 6pm.

This means the shopping centre will be open 9am-6pm Monday-Saturday and 10.30am-4.30pm on Sundays.

The new opening hours were implemented on Thursday 3 August (Nub News).

A spokesperson for centre said: "The Potteries Centre is committed to adapting to its visitors and their changing lifestyles, including their ever-evolving shopping habits.

"From Thursday 3rd August, The Potteries Centre implemented new Thursday trading hours; now closing at 6pm.

"By adopting these new hours, it ensures that trading periods remain the same all week long, making it easier for customers to remember and plan ahead."
