Post Office in Stoke-on-Trent to move to new location next month

A Post Office branch in Stoke-on-Trent will relocate to a new premises next month, only 70 metres away.

Trent Vale Post Office, currently at 819 London Road, will move to 783 London Road.

The new premises is currently empty and is undergoing a full refurbishment, ready to open on Thursday 24 October at 1pm.

The current branch will close on Tuesday 8 October at 5.30pm.

The current Post Office will close on Tuesday 8 October (Google).

The relocated Trent Vale Post Office will have two screened Post Office serving positions and it will offer the same range of products and services. 

Opening hours will remain the same (Monday to Saturday: 9am – 5.30pm) and the branch will have the same Postmaster.

A spokesperson for Post Office said: "After careful consideration of the feedback received during consultation, we remain confident that the layout and location of the new branch will continue to meet customer needs and deliver an excellent service, whilst securing the long-term viability of Post Office services in the local community. A further review of parking has been carried out and has confirmed that roadside parking is available nearby."
