Popular radio station to leave Stoke-on-Trent studio after 40 years

A popular radio station is set to leave its studio in Stoke-on-Trent after the building was put up for sale. 

Signal Radio's studio has been based at 67-73 Stoke Road, Shelton, since 1983.

The two storey building is now up for sale with Louis Taylor for £600,000 or for rent for £53,000 a year. 

The building also comes with a CCTV-protected car park for 20 vehicles, office accommodation, air-conditioning and contemporary decoration.

Louis Taylor say: "The property benefits from excellent road links to a wide range of geographical locations and is within seconds of the A500. 

The building, on Stoke Road, is up for sale for £600,000 (Nub News).

"Internally the unit benefits from office accommodation, quality W.C. facilities to ground and first floor, air-conditioning and contemporary decoration. 

"Ground floor office space is cellular and has been formerly used for recording purposes. 

"The first floor office space is open plan and benefits from a board room and galleried landing access. There is also a side garage/store along with a plant room."

Bauer Media Group has indicated that the Signal One team would move to Birmingham next year.
