A popular Makers' Market will be returning to Gladstone Pottery Museum, in Stoke-on-Trent, this weekend.

Over 50 local and national ceramic makers are confirmed to attend, with past contestants from the hit television series, The Great Pottery Throw Down, including Henry Moore, Cadi Froehlich, Shani Yeomans and this year's winner, Donna Bloye.

The market will take place on Saturday 23 March between 11am and 4pm, with a pop-up café selling refreshments.

Over 50 local and national ceramic makers are confirmed to attend, including past contestants from The Great Pottery Throw Down (Stoke-on-Trent City Council).

Donna Bloye, who was announced as the winner of The Great Pottery Throw Down 2024 just last week said: "I'm so excited to be returning to Gladstone.

"It has a very special place in my heart, and so many happy memories. I can't wait to see the beautiful sunsets and sunrises over the bottle kilns again."

Councillor Jane Ashworth, leader of Stoke-on-Trent City Council, said: "Our Makers' Market is extremely popular for pottery and ceramics enthusiasts to come along and appreciate the clay art for sale and is a really good afternoon out.

"The array of local makers taking part highlights the incredible level of creativity still present across our city.
