Collision investigators are re-appealing for witnesses and dash cam footage following the tragic death of a woman in Cheadle.

Kay Colley, aged 77, was a passenger in a Ford Fiesta, which was involved in a collision with a Kia Picanto and a Fiat 500, on Cheadle Road, just before 4.30pm, on Sunday 21 July.

Sadly, despite the best efforts of paramedics, Kay, from Trentham, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Now, Sergeant Chris Sweetmore, from the Staffordshire and West Midlands Collision Investigation Unit (CIU), has issued a fresh appeal for information.

Kay Colley, 77, was sadly pronounced dead at the scene (Staffordshire Police).

"We continue to investigate the circumstances around this tragic incident and are asking anyone who may have seen it, or those with relevant dashcam footage, to get in touch with us.

"We are particularly keen to speak to anyone who has dashcam footage recorded while travelling through the stretch of Cheadle Road between Forsbrook village and Boundary before 4.30pm on 21 July."

In a statement released at the time, Kay's family described her as 'a loving mum to John and Tracy and loving nana to Georgia'.

Anyone with information can email [email protected], call 101 quoting incident number 433 of 21 July, or message using Live Chat on the website.
