Police launch appeal following deliberate house fire in Stoke-on-Trent

Staffordshire Police are appealing for information following a deliberate house fire in Stoke-on-Trent.

Officers and firefighters were called to an address near Victoria Road, Fenton, just before 2.20am on 24 August.

The front door of the property had caught fire but thankfully, nobody was injured.

Thankfully, nobody was injured in the blaze (Staffordshire Fire & Rescue Service).

A spokesperson for Staffordshire Police said: "Our officers searched the area and made house-to-house enquiries.

"Anyone who was in the area at the time and has information that could help with our enquiries is asked to get in touch.

"Call us on 101, quoting incident number 98 of 24 August, or message us using Live Chat on our website."
