Police issue appeal after city centre robbery in Stoke-on-Trent

Staffordshire Police are appealing for information after stock worth £25,000 was stolen from a shop in the city centre.

Officers were called to a business on Piccadilly, Hanley on Tuesday 4 March after someone entered the shop and stole £25,000-worth of electrical products.

An investigation is underway and Staffordshire Police are asking anyone who saw what happened to come forward. 

A spokesperson for Staffordshire Police said: "We are appealing for information after electrical products were stolen from a business in Stoke-on-Trent.

"We were called to Piccadilly, Hanley, at 11am on Tuesday (4 March). An unknown suspect entered a shop and stole around £25,000-worth of stock.

"We are currently reviewing CCTV, dashcam or doorbell footage of the area at the time and would urge anyone who saw what happened or who may have relevant dashcam footage to get in touch with us."
