Police investigating after man dies in Stoke-on-Trent

Detectives from Staffordshire Police are investigating after a man died in Stoke-on-Trent this morning (24 March).
Police, paramedics and the air ambulance were called to a house on Swaythling Grove in Bentilee at 8:15 this morning.
Paramedics from the West Midlands Ambulance Service treated a man in his 30s who was suffering a cardiac arrest but he died at the scene.
There has since been a police cordon put in place while forensic officers investigate.
A spokesperson for Staffordshire Police said: "We were called at 8.15am this morning (Monday 24 March) to a house on Swaythling Grove in Bentilee.
"Paramedics from West Midlands Ambulance Service were treating a man in his 30s who was suffering a cardiac arrest.
"Midlands Air Ambulance were also at the scene.
"Sadly, nothing could be done to save him and the man died.
"We have put a cordon in place and have got detectives carrying out enquiries to find out more about the circumstances surrounding the man's death.
