Police charge man after a stabbing in a Stoke-on-Trent park

Staffordshire Police has charged a man with wounding offences after two men were stabbed with scissors in a Stoke-on-Trent park.
Abdulrahin Abbker, 24, of no fixed address, is charged with two counts of wounding with intent, one count of possessing a sharp pointed article in a public place and criminal damage to a property valued under £5,000.
It comes after two men were hospitalised after being stabbed with a pair of scissors in Hanley Park on Tuesday evening at around 7:20pm.
A man in his 30s was stabbed in the leg and another in his 40s was stabbed in the abdomen. Both of their injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.
Abbker was due to appear at the North Staffordshire Justice Centre today (15 May).
