Police appeal for witnesses following huge fight outside Stoke-on-Trent nightclub

Staffordshire Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward following a fight outside a nightclub in Stoke-on-Trent which involved around 20 people.

At 4.10am on Saturday 7 December, CCTV captured a fight that started on Stafford Street, Hanley.

People were punched, headbutted and stamped on during the disorder. 

A spokesperson said: "A 20-year-old man, from Stoke-on-Trent, has been arrested on suspicion of common assault and displaying threatening and/or abusive behaviour likely to cause harassment, alarm or distress. 

Two people have already been arrested following the fight (Staffordshire Police).

"He was interviewed and released on conditional police bail while the investigation continues.

"A 20-year-old woman, from Newcastle-under-Lyme, was arrested on suspicion of assault by beating. She has since been given an adult restorative disposal.
