Police appeal for witnesses after man 'threatened with a knife' in Stoke-on-Trent

Staffordshire Police is appealing for witnesses after a man was "threatened with a knife" in Stoke-on-Trent.
A 22-year-old man, from Stoke-on-Trent, has been arrested on suspicion of affray, possession of a knife blade / sharp pointed article in a public place and driving a motor vehicle with a proportion of a specified controlled drug above the specified limit.
He has since been released under investigation.
A spokesperson for Staffordshire Police said: "We are appealing for witnesses after a man was threatened with a knife in Stoke-on-Trent.
"At around 2.30pm on Friday (12 June), two men got out of a grey Vauxhall Corsa near St James' Church on Uttoxeter Road, Longton.
"The men approached a green Vauxhall Corsa and threatened the driver with a knife before driving away.
"Officers attended the scene and stopped a car nearby. A large knife was seized from inside the car."
Staffordshire Police is appealing for anyone with CCTV, doorbell or dashcam footage of the area at the time to contact them by calling 101, quoting incident 430 of 12 June, or using Live Chat on the website.
