Police are appealing for information following a burglary in Stoke-on-Trent.

The burglary took place at the Farmfoods on Leek Road in Hanley, between 8.50am and 9.10am on Sunday 4 October.

A man entered the shop and took a mobile phone, a bank card and car keys from an office.

The car keys were then used to steal a blue Dacia Sandero Stepway vehicle from the store's car park.

Thankfully, the vehicle was later recovered in Penkhull.

The bank card, meanwhile, has since been used at a number of local shops.

Staffordshire Police officers attended the scene and have examined CCTV, and also carried out a forensic examination of the vehicle.

They're now appealing for information from the public to help find the man in the picture, who they believe could help with their enquiries.
