Police appeal for information after girl hit by car at Stoke-on-Trent roundabout

Staffordshire Police is appealing for information after a girl was hit by a car on a Stoke-on-Trent roundabout.
Officers were called at 1.20pm yesterday (Sunday 8 February) to the roundabout on Weston Road, Meir, following reports of a crash involving a red Vauxhall and a pedestrian, a girl.
A spokesperson for Staffordshire Police said: "We are appealing for information following a collision involving a car and a pedestrian in Stoke-on-Trent."
They added: "The pedestrian was taken to hospital. Her injuries are not thought to be life-changing or life-threatening at this time.
"The driver of the car, a woman, was reported for driving other than in accordance with a driving licence."
Staffordshire Police are now appealing for anyone with CCTV, doorbell or dashcam footage of the area at the time to contact them by calling 101, quoting incident 330 of 8 February, using Live Chat on their website, or anonymously calling Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
