Staffordshire Police is appealing for information following a "deliberate" fire involving three vehicles in Stoke-on-Trent.

The police force said officers were called at 11.10pm on Saturday (26 September) to Dawlish Drive, Bentilee, following reports of two vans and a car "well alight".

Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Service attended the scene alongside Staffordshire Police officers.

A spokesperson for Staffordshire Police said: "The fire was extinguished and thankfully nobody was injured.

"The cause of the fire was deemed to be deliberate and our investigation is ongoing."

The police force is now appealing for anyone with CCTV, doorbell or dashcam footage of the area at the time to contact them by calling 101, quoting incident 1062 of 26 September, or using Live Chat on their website.
